Lovely, luminous, golden-nectar/light
amber hue, excellent clarity; this classic
liqueur bouquet is equal parts butter
and of dried herbs it’s a potent aroma,
one that engages the drinker immediately
- but while it’s strong, it isn’t unruly,
awkward, or even pungent; the lilting
waves of hazelnut and butter continue
on the palate; the finish showcases the
hazelnut but only for a short time,
since the after-taste is too polite to
overstay its welcome; focused, delectable,
classy, stately; also a superb liqueur
in cooking.
